(Society for American Baseball Research), he serves as chapter leader for the Grantland Rice-Fred Russell (Nashville) chapter, and is a member of Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association
.A graduate of Memphis State University, he and his wife, Sheila, reside in Mt. Juliet along with their wonder dog, Sully Dell.
