Vanderbilt Commodores @ Purdue Boilermakers
Simply A Fan’s first non-baseball adventure was an overnight charter bus trip to West Lafayette to see the Commodores take on the Boilermakers in week one of the college football season. This group of 20+ was comprised of several current player’s families, a former player and his wife, and just die-hard Vandy fans from Nashville. It would be the first of three Vanderbilt football road trips during the 2019 season.
