Simply A Fan will be taking a trip to the Queen City for MLB Opening Day! This two-day, one night road trip from Nashville will be Simply A Fan’s second consecutive MLB Opening Day. The Reds, who will be celebrating their 150th Anniversary as a franchise, are the only team in Major League Baseball who are awarded a home game each year on MLB Opening Day. Not is the team celebrating it’s 150th year in existence, the city will be celebrating with the 100th annual Findlay Market Parade that officially kicks off the baseball season in Cincinnati!

Along with the Pirates-Reds game, we will take in the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum on Wednesday afternoon upon our arrival, then on Thursday morning we will be there for the Findlay Market Parade.

Below is an approximate schedule with best guess times for activities and events.
Wednesday, March 27th
8:30am CST –  leave Nashville
12:30pm EST – lunch, Louisville
3:00pm – Reds Hall of Fame & Museum
6:00pm – dinner, Cincinnati
8:00pm – hotel

Thursday, March 28th
7:30am – leave hotel
10:00am – the 100th Annual Findlay Market Parade
2:00pm – gates open, Great American Ballpark
4:10pm – first pitch
7:30pm EST – game over, leave for Nashville
11:30pm CST – arrive Nashville

Trip cost: $325. Cost includes the following:
ground transportation from Nashville (rental + gas + game parking)
admission to the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum
ballgame ticket (Field Box – section 136)
one night hotel stay (double occupancy)
meals are not included
a tour guide for your detailed trip itinerary
Simply A Fan lanyard + decal sticker

We will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Wilder, Kentucky – about six miles from the ballpark.
